Thistle is one of four paintings inspired by a cottage and stables that are sitting empty and left to nature.  They are on the country path where I walk regularly and I have loved painting this series.
Painted in acrylic on deep edged canvas and set in bespoke wooden frame.  
Finished in antique white chalk paint. Overall dimensions 34cm x 34cm
