Blackbird is one of four paintings inspired by a cottage and stables that have been left to nature.  They catch my attention when I walk the country path not far from where I live.  I have sketched and collaged and finally painted with some artistic license !

Painted in acrylic on a deep edged canvas and set in bespoke wooden frame, finished in antique white chalk paint.  The overall dimensions are 34cm x 34 cm and the frame is 5.5cm in depth.
